Link to PostAs a member of the creatives committee of this event, I was assigned to make a teaser in line with the theme, “The Wilderness Awaits.” Thus, the design mainly uses the environment of a jungle as reference.Inspired by pop-up children’s books, I decided to take this simple project to the next level by turning it into a short animation as a GIF. Animation is not my expertise but I wanted to try something new and make my vision come to life. There were a lot of challenges with the aspect of turning it into a GIF although I managed to pull through by studying the movement of closing a book.As a teaser, its design is a bit minimalistic (with no shading or intricate details) but is designed to excite viewers, to anticipate the main poster and other details of the event.Softwares Used: Procreate, Adobe Photoshop

Campus Varsity Team
Link to PostA poster requested by the team captain of a varsity team that was hosting its tryouts for the incoming school year. The client personally messaged me to work on this project.Taking into consideration the name of the team, folk dance and a Filipiniana were the motifs to solidify the group’s identity. There was a color palette that I was asked to follow and one font to use which initially made it difficult to come up with a design that wasn’t too overwhelming for others to read. I decided to use flat shapes to make sure the text was legible and experimented with the outline of the given font to add variety to the poster.To amplify the elegance and grace of cultural dance, flowers were used as the border of the poster. The fleur de lis is a symbol of the school, which is why a variation of it can be seen at the top and invites others to try out for a team that represents the school through folk dance.Softwares Used: Procreate, Adobe Photoshop

SINAG is a magazine dedicated to showcasing the art and literature created by students of the school.To unify the magazine, we were given a color palette to follow as well as fonts to use.Given the piece assigned to me "Ang Mundo sa Likod ng mga Salita," I went with the title as the inspiration for the overall spread thus, the illustration of Earth and stars in the background. The article was rather lengthy which is why I divided the text into multiple columns.Softwares Used: Procreate, Adobe InDesign

Link to PostFor my midterm project, we were instructed to make a poster on sustainability in 2024. I initially had 7 sketches prior to this and had a difficult time deciding how I wanted to depict "sustainability." I browsed through the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals and decided on SDG 16.SDG 16 emphasizes fostering inclusive and peaceful societies, access to justice for all, and building effective and accountable institutions. Addressing the lack of a lasting peace agreement and addressing human rights are concerns that Palestine currently has because of the genocide caused by Israel. SDG 16 prioritizes human rights for all, urging the international community to hold all parties accountable for upholding these fundamental rights.In contrast to the events happening in Gaza, I wanted to depict hope and Palestine’s landscape hence the Lady Justice statue surrounded by greenery. I was also inspired by the slogan with the river as its imagery as well as the justice tarot card.Softwares Used: Procreate, Adobe Photoshop
